Privacy Policy of MediaQSL



If you are using MediaQSL by dl3sps the following private data may be transmitted via the internet:

Documents (device folders and files)

Unless you don't click the sharing button of any recorded qso in your log, no files will be transmitted via the internet.
If you agree to share share your qsl videos using the share button, the action is a matter of your trust
in the sharing policies of the third-party apps (for example twitter, facebook, youtube) which are installed on your device for sharing.
MediaQSL itsself does not transmit any whole files via the internet.
MediaQSL hands over the location of files to other apps if you (the user) decides to.

Location Information

Unless you don't activate the "Report my activity" ToggleButton on the MainPage - status:off , MediaQSL does not transmit
or receive any data (location, callsign, last used frequency, self-bio/information) to the server.
If you decide to enable "Report my activity" ToggleButton on the MainPage - status:on ,
MediaQSL does send unencrypted data (location, callsign, last used frequency, self-bio/information)
via udp protocol to the server and receives the same kind of data from other users.
The data provided by you (the user) (location, callsign, last used frequency, self-bio/information)
is never perminantly stored on the server.
The data is only present for a few seconds within the RAM storage in charge of managing the receive - an distribution of the data.
If you wannt to observe the data transmitted by the program you may use a packet-sniffing tool to read it.

Microphone

Microphone data is only collected if recording is purposely enabled by you (the user).
The data collected in video and audiofiles remains on your local device unless you decide
to share it using third-party apps.

Camera

Camera data is only collected if recording is purposely enabled by you (the user).
The data collected in video and audiofiles remains on your local device unless you decide to share it using third-party apps.
